And April is Almost Gone!

Wow!!! I can hardly believe the month has just flown by. I keep meaning to get my pictures from the camera to the PC but it just keeps getting put off! Life has been fun though! Chloe and I fingerpainted in shaving cream. I have never seen such excitement in anyone's eyes over shaving cream! Go figure! She wrote and drew all over the counter tops. For days my kitchen smelled of shaving cream [cheap shaving cream, at that!]
Brandi took a quick trip to Florida with some friends so Chloe spent the night Wednesday and since I was off work on Thursday we played all day. I had to go to school for a meeting and took her with me. She got to color and play in Mrs. Leah's room at a big desk. Then we went to the Pre-K classroom and met Miss Annie and Miss Candace. What fun! Miss Candace announced that they had visitors and they all stopped and waved and said, 'Hi!' Chloe just smiled so big. She looked around for a minute and then was ready to leave.
I had picked up an owl pellet at school for us to dissect when we got home. We took it apart and looked at the bones with a magnifying glass and glued them on a paper plate. She is never put off by anything!
Thursday, the 24th was her daddy's birthday. We wrapped his gift that she and mommy had bought before Brandi's trip. Chloe had got him some candy, a Target gift card so they could go shopping, a note pad shaped like a 'D' for DAD, and some dinosaur stickers! She had written her name on him card and called him earlier on the phone while he was working. She squealed with glee when he rang the door bell to pick her up. She had said earlier that we needed to go to Logan's to eat for supper, but Grant inherited Gil's genes for being a party pooper and we didn't go:( She was okay as she knew she was going to spend the night with Daegan and Levin.
Today, the 25th, is Bland's birthday. Wishing her lots of birthday surprises today!
Well, maybe pictures will get loaded soon, but that fish is getting awfully close to the beach. It won't be long now! Thank goodness!
